Chrome is Google's new internet browser, I have been using Chrome for about a month now and I am impressed, Chrome is what Google is all about, clean interface, fast and simple. I particularly like the dashboard feature, it's very useful. The dashboard is basically the first page you see when you open Chrome, it shows you small screen shots of the most recent websites you visited, so after you have been using chrome for a while this dashboard serves the same purpose of the "favorites" list but with screen shots and it is shown every time you open Chrome, you can disable this feature if you don't like it. Also, there is not a tool bar, geniuos! you have no idea how much more spave that gives you to view your favorites web pages, Chrome only has an address bar on top, that's it.

I just told you some of the things I like about Chrome, now let me tell you what I don't like. Since Chrome is too new, there are many, and I mean many websites that are designed to work only on Internet Explorer or FireFox, such is the case of my bank's website, I can see the website fine, however, as soon as I try to log in to my account I get a message telling me that the web browser I am using is not supported for online banking, that is bad news. I am sure Google and web develpers will start taking care of these issues soon, like I said, the browser is new and it will take some time to adjust to all the existing websites and web applications out there.

I am also an avid user of IE, firefox and Safari, but the simplicity and clean interface of Chrome is very inviting and so it has become my favorite internet browser, I will still use IE, firefox and Safari for development purposes and because some applications work better on those browsers than in Chrome. Chrome is made for browsing the internet and nothing else, it is so integrated with the internet and not with your computer's operating system making it a very refreshing, fast and useful tool to browse the internet.

Happy browsing!
